    Composition Characteristics

    • Silicon: It can increase the strength, hardness, and elasticity of steel, and improve the oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance of steel.

    Main Applications

    In the iron and steel production, silicon-manganese-zirconium is mainly used in the steelmaking and casting processes. It can be added to the molten steel as an alloy additive, playing the role of deoxidation and desulfurization, removing harmful impurities in the molten steel, and improving the purity of the steel.
